Hi, I’m Riley.

Born and raised in Kelowna, BC I took off to travel the world after high school before making Australia homebase. When the pandemic hit, I came back to Canada and landed in Calgary, which I now call home.

Being sequestered during quarantine sparked my entrepreneurial spirit and I started making candles after discovering just how many harmful ingredients are in everyday household items. Candles have also always been part of my personal ritual, so I wanted to make something with a positive eco-impact that aligns with my values. After two and a half years of making and selling a variety of candles, I’ve come to understand the power of a good fragrance, and how intrinsic it is to memory; something I started to realize during all my travels abroad. And Engraved Candle Co. was born!

All candles are handmade by me and engraved in Southeast Calgary with a little help from my 2-year-old Golden Retriever, Ziggy.
